The distance from Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi to Patna is about to reduce. Gaya Sherghati Daltonganj rail line has been approved. The Ministry of Railways has released a budget of Rs 20 crore for the survey of this railway line. The survey work will start soon after the release of Rs. This rail line will go to Gaya Rafiganj Bhaya Daltonganj. This project of East Central Railway was proposed for a long time, but for the first time, funds have been released for it. After the completion of the survey work, the railway will start the work of laying the tracks.
Many blocks will be connected after the completion of the project:
At present, it takes 9 to 14 hours to go from Ranchi to Patna. It takes about 7-8 hours by train to reach Patna from Palamu. After the completion of the project, the distance from Ranchi to Patna will be reduced by about three hours, while the distance from Palamu to Patna will be reduced to about four hours. With the completion of the project, many blocks including Gaya’s Sherghati, Imamganj, Dumariya, Palamu’s Naudiha Baxzar, Chhatarpur, and Nawabazar will be connected. This entire area has been a Naxal corridor.
Palamu MP had urged the Railway Minister:
Palamu MP Vishnudayal Ram had urged Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav in the matter. After the completion of the Daltonganj Sherghati Rafiganj Gaya rail line project, a population of about 7-8 lakhs of Palamu area will be connected by rail. The freight corridor of the railway is also passing through Palamu. After the freight corridor, the Daltonganj Gaya rail line is a major project of the railways.
The survey will be completed in 2-3 months:
Earlier, the government approved an amount of about 2 lakh crores for the Barwadih Chirmir rail line project. With the completion of this project, the distance from Kolkata to Mumbai will be greatly reduced. The area of Palamu comes under the central Industrial of Railways. Palamu comes under Dhanbad and Mughalsarai Railways Division. After completion of the survey of the Daltonganj-Gaya rail line, the railway will issue its prepared DPR and give financial permission. According to the railway official, the survey work will be completed in two to three months. Railway Development Corporation will do the work of survey of the rail line project.
